Volunteers Needed at Cascade Head Preserve   Saturday, September 20th      The Nature Conservancy invites anyone interested in preserving Cascade Head Preserve to participate in a volunteer work party taking place on Saturday, September 20th.  Located near Lincoln City, Cascade Head is a coastal promontory overlooking the Pacific Ocean that provides critical habitat for native prairie grasses, rare wildflowers, the threatened Oregon Silverspot butterfly and the Cascade Head catchfly.  We will be removing invasive blackberry at this work party.  The work party…

Oregon Music Hall of Fame Awards

The 8th Oregon Music Hall of Fame (OMHOF) Induction Ceremony and Concert goes live at Aladdin Theater, Saturday October 4 at 7 pm. The event honors Oregonians who’ve significantly influenced the world of music. Artists must either have been born in Oregon working professionally in music for at least 20 years – or have worked in music for 20 years after moving here. Time As Money: A Documentary Film About Time Banking
